I'm not sure if everybody got a copy of the coverage for SS so I'll post it here( I only found this a few minutes ago so sorry orz;; )

A. Geography: Master the following:
  1. locations of the ancient civilizations taken up in class.
  2. bodies of water surrounding and found within these civilizations.
  3. directions: north, south, east, west.

B. Chronology
  1. Have a general understanding of the timelines and chronology of major events within each civilization.
  2. Have a general picture of the sequence of the rise and decline of the various civilizations.

C. Time-Life Documentaries - Recall your answers to the GQs given on the films below:
  1. Egypt: A quest for Immortality
  2. Greece: A Moment for Excellence
  3. Maya: The blood of Kings

D. Cause and Effect

E. Analysis: Drawing a distinction

F. Reading Comprehension

G. Categorization

H. Drawing Conclusions
  1. Be able to synthesize what you have learned about the various ancient civilizations - their economic, political, and cultural lives.
  2. How were the similar? How were they different?

  2. correction tape/fluid
