Choose any of the following:
a. Imagine you are a medieval poet who is in love. Write a love poem or compose a love song not more than 4 lines. Prepare to recite or sing this in class. Select a classmate who shall represent your beloved. Props and costumes are welcome.
b. How did the Scholastics view the logic of the Greeks? Do you agree or disagree with them? Explain.
c. In his Divine Comedy, the poet Dante Aligieri describes his concept of hell. Briefly explain how your beliefs are similar or different from Dante's. You may do this through illustration or essay, or both. Illustrations must be on bond paper.
d. Make an illustration of the Black Death on bond paper. Refer to source material on p.195. Based on recent research, what may have caused it?
